Faith Sinclair

I am friends with the Sinclair-Ferrell family. It's been VERY hard on the entire family.

Their home is eerily quiet. Faith was the light in the room.....the heart and soul of the family.

They miss her *every* day.

Silence for almost 3 months was hard to live with. They plodded along every day.

That he was arrested lifts a little bit of weight off of the shoulders. But now they have to wait for a trial and then they have to re-live everything once the trial is started.

He plead not-guilty. He claimed in court that he was the passenger of the car. He told friends, family and his employer of his actions. That weighed heavily with the Grand Jury and they did their job to get an indictment and get Lemuel Payne to turn himself in.

He has a DUI history.

He did this unthinkable act that took a human life.

All that he has done in his past will be considered. The vehicular homicide on August 3rd and what he did in the days, weeks and over 2 months that followed, will all be brought out in court.

Justice will be doled out. It won't be as swift as some might wish it to be. But it will come.

At least this wasn't a case of "never" finding who caused this tragedy.

I can't imagine their pain and their having to relive it every day in court; it is so sad he just cannot take the responsibility, admit his guilt, take his punishment thus helping them prevent the agony of the court case; he already took away their lives; just so sad

So sorry to read about this tragedy and what the family is going through. I'm glad they have the man who did it.
